The Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) shall include, at a minimum, representatives from the following groups or organizations, in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations:
· Elected state or local officials
· Local environmental organizations
· Law enforcement agencies
· Hospitals or medical facilities
· Local emergency management agencies
· Transportation agencies or providers
· Firefighting services
· Broadcast and print media
· First aid and emergency medical services (EMS)
· Community-based groups
· Public health agencies
· Owners or operators of facilities subject to the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)
The LEPC may include additional members as needed to represent other relevant stakeholders in the community.
